Recipe Op. 1

1. Allegro experimental
You don’t want to put everything on a plate and see what happens. Maybe do it slower?
I am sure you want other people to try your food. It’s always better
when you share a recital at home,
to enjoy new flavors.

2. Adagio picoso
Jazz with carrots, tomatoes, and potatoes, basically cooking with what you have left
makes you the Coltrane of vegetables.
End of the month creates unexpected harmonies; all good
music and flavors starts with experimentation (and sometimes lack of—)

3. Rondo with flavor
On weekends, create a whole orchestral work. You have more time and ingredients to mix
and play with—make something different, big and sonorous. Also,
date night with you partner. You have way more depth in your feelings, like Mahler adagietto
from his 5th symphony. You can show your love with chilaquiles and slow third movements.
